The Shepherd's Heart (Pastor Appreciation 2026 Service)

"The Shepherd's Heart" - Corey Oaks

Key Verse: Jeremiah 3:15 states: "And I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding."

The Metaphor: God promises leaders who act like good shepherds. They care for, protect, and guide the people instead of exploiting them.

The Source: True spiritual leadership comes directly from God's heart ("after my own heart") rather than human ambition.

The Method: These leaders feed the community with "knowledge and understanding"—meaning spiritual truth, wisdom, and insight from God.
